Elyria Catholic High School is the only coed Catholic high school on Cleveland's west side with a small, nurturing learning environment and personalized approach to teaching that results in educational excellence. Our students are prepared for life beyond high school through challenging courses including Honors, AP and CCP classes. Because we are a smaller school, our students have the opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of service, academic, extracurricular and athletic activities.

Application Process
Students are invited to "Prowl with a Panther" to find out more about Elyria Catholic. These one hour personalized tours provide students and their parents/guardians with a glimpse into the daily life of a Panther. Students next take the HSPT (High School Placement Test). Students can register for the placement test on our school website.

After submitting the application, Elyria Catholic will reach out to a student's current school to obtain records to review. Acceptance decision letters will be mailed out in February.

Tuition & Tuition Assistance
Yes, there is a tuition, along with tuition assistance.
Elyria Catholic High School strives to provide the highest quality educational programs at the lowest possible cost. We recognize and appreciate the financial sacrifices that families make to send their children to Elyria Catholic High School. We work very hard to control our expenses to ensure that we can provide a secondary Catholic education at an affordable tuition rate. Elyria Catholic's tuition is one of the most affordable among the eighteen Catholic high schools in the Diocese of Cleveland.

Available Scholarships
Students will be considered for the following assistance by completing a FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment Application with required documentation. The application must be completed by November 15, 2021.

Academic Program/Extracurricular Activities
Elyria Catholic is a college preparatory high school known for its rigorous academic program. In addition, we believe in preparing students for the future by providing them with the opportunity to take classes such as business, engineering, broadcasting, coding/computers.

100% Graduation Rate

95% of students attend a 4 year university or trade school after graduation.

This school does not help with job placement assistance after graduation.
