The School Choice Portal will open in early November 2020. The first round of assignments will be made in early February 2021.

Application Process
All students applying to any school in the district, must enter the School Choice Portal at https://www.clevelandmetroschools.org/chooseCMSD and complete an application. Our school is a criteria school, therefore we need to see:
1) Recent report card
2) Most recent standardized test scores
3) Student essay
4) Names/email addresses of 2 academic teachers or administrators

Tuition & Tuition Assistance
CSAD is one of the public schools among the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. No tuition is required.

At the Cleveland School of Architecture and Design, you’ll find computer labs, science labs and music rooms as well as a dance studio, garden and multimedia room – all in the spectacular, renovated historic John Hay building, home to a trio of innovative high schools. Additionally, a gym and indoor track at the school provide a wide array of athletic opportunities.

CSAD offers an Honors Curriculum with a focus on Design, Engineering and Architecture. SPORTS: Football, Volleyball, Girls and Boys Cross Country/Track & Field, Golf, Girls and Boys Tennis, Co-ed Soccer, Girls and Boys Basketball, Bowling, Softball, Baseball, Cheerleading, Hi-Steppers. CLUBS: Chess, Environmental Club, Weightlifting, Peer Mediation, Yearbook, Maker Meets, Math Competitions, Multi-Cultural Club, National Honor Society, plus many more!
