Lorain Community Elementary
Top-rated charter school moves to new location in Lorain.

For the last few years, Constellation's Lorain Community Elementary and Middle schools were in different locations.  Earlier this year, Constellation Schools acquired an abandoned Lorain school building -- the former Irving School originally built in 1927.  Working through the summer, the Constellation crew cleaned up, painted and brought this 85 year old building back-to-life.

This rejuvenated 70,000 square foot building is now the new home of Constellation's - Lorain Elementary and Middle Community Schools offering Lorain families a great K-8 public school in one location.

All Constellation Schools strive to provide students with high academics combined with a rich 'character-based' environment.
Ms. Shady, principal of Constellation's Lorain Community School and elementary and middle school students are very happy about their new school.

Ms. Shady, Lorain Community School principal, commented, “parent response to our two consecutive years of achieving Excellent rated reports cards has been wonderful.  Since relocating to this building, student enrollment has grown over 10% and many of our classes have long waiting lists.”

"Families seem to like having all the elementary and middle students in one newly renovated building.  We now have a new gym and band room.  And, we are participating in a new community program which allows us to serve free breakfast and lunch to students in all grades".

"Our new home may be 85 years old -- but our students are learning and their parents are excited".

Congratulations to Constellation's -- Lorain Community School
