School Report Card Data Shows That Community Schools in Ohio Continue to Make Progress
The upper chart demonstrates the steady increase in the number of higher performing charter schools with the simultaneous decrease in the number lower performing schools.This is precisely the evolutionary trajectory that the charter school community aspires to. These results reflect the steady attention to quality by school leaders, teachers, management companies and charter sponsors.
The lower chart shows that the state’s urban-based charter schools continue to consistently perform well benchmarked against their traditional school counterparts.
The Ohio Alliance for Public Charter Schools applauds these results and supports the continued efforts being made to maintain these positive trends. OAPCS will publish graphical analyses of these
grade report results over the next few days on a city-by-city basis.
