Constellation Schools: Puritas Community Middle's 8th grade math teacher, Jason Sunkle, was selected to receive the "Head of the Class" award from the Cleveland Cavaliers. Jason's teaching efforts along with his volunteer work with Project P.A.N.D.A. (A drug and alcohol awareness and prevention program for adolescents) made him an outstanding choice for this award. On January 14th, 10 members of the Cavaliers organization surprised Mr. Sunkle with this great news when they arrive at the school along with the Cavs mascot and their camera crew. He received 2 tickets to the Cavs game tonight, January 29th along with 2 tickets to their Court Club. During the game, he will receive a plaque presented on the court as well as a check for $500.
We are Puritas Proud of Jason!
